The Questions We Hear Most

For customizable items, standard turnaround usually means your order will be in your hands within approximately 2.5 to 3 weeks after final approval of your artwork. Please also allow at least one week for the proofing process before your project is sent to press. Rush charges may apply when the requested delivery date is less than three weeks from the date the order is placed. Non-custom orders normally ship within 2 to 3 business days, provided all items are in stock. Production turnaround does not include shipping time.
Once an order is placed, we can usually provide an email proof in less than 2 business days. More detailed or complex projects may require a little additional time. Rush fees may apply when a proof is needed in less than two business days. Orders without customization will not receive a proof.
Yes. Unless otherwise specified, all text on customizable printed items can be edited at no additional charge with purchase, so you can personalize your organization name, contact information, event details, dates, messaging and calls to action. Some stock items have already been printed and cannot be edited; these may include certain note cards, budget Sanctity of Human Life inserts, and stock Christmas cards. Free customization is provided with a purchase: if an order is canceled after proofs have already been created, a setup fee may be charged.
Yes. Alternate photographs are available for many Keener Marketing designs at no additional charge, which may include exchanging an image for a compatible photograph from another item that uses the same theme and design number. If the available options do not fit your needs, you may select a different stock photograph for a $25 fee, or provide your own high-quality photograph.
Absolutely. For the best printed results, your photographs should be high-resolution digital files, at least as large as they will appear in the finished piece, and approximately 300 dpi at the intended printed size. Print-ready customer photographs can be incorporated at no additional charge. Additional fees may apply if images require editing or preparation before they can be printed.
Yes. Please send us the highest-quality version of your logo available. If your logo was created by a professional designer, the original files are preferred whenever possible. We can accept many professional file formats, including AI, EPS, TIF and high-quality JPG. Not sure which file to send? Send us the best version you have and our team can review it.
Yes. To help avoid additional setup fees: package InDesign projects so all fonts and linked files are included; export artwork from Publisher, Word and other programs as a PDF; Photoshop and Illustrator files can also be accepted. If colors, photos or graphics extend to the edge of the finished piece, include 1/8-inch bleed on all sides, and keep important text at least 1/4 inch from the trim edge.
You don’t need to know all the printing terminology before getting started. Tell us what you’re creating and how the finished piece will be used: whether people need to write on it, whether it will go through an inkjet or laser printer, whether it is a brochure, card, form or marketing piece, and whether you want a glossy or uncoated look. That information can help determine which options may work best for your project.
For customized projects requiring proofing, yes. A PDF proof is typically sent by email so you can review the project before it moves into production. Carefully check names, dates, addresses, phone numbers, website URLs, spelling, photos, logos, event information and other customized content. Production turnaround begins after your final proof has been approved.
Yes. Use Start a Project when you have an idea but may still need help determining exactly what you need, or Request a Quote when you already know your product, quantity and specifications and are ready to discuss pricing. Most items ship via UPS Ground unless another shipping service is requested. Please provide an accurate street address with your order: UPS does not deliver to P.O. boxes. Keep in mind that shipping time is separate from the production turnaround time.
Tell us about it. Not every project fits neatly into a standard product category. Give us a call or submit your idea and explain what you’re trying to create, how you plan to use it, approximately how many you need, when you need it, and any design ideas or files you already have. We can discuss creating a custom item that better fits your needs.
